Mr. Werther is a founding Partner & Managing Director for Patriot Equities, overseeing the negotiating and structuring of financial products used to capitalize the firm's investments.

Prior to founding Patriot, Mr. Werther was Vice President and General Counsel for Preferred Real Estate Investments, a leading real estate firm focused on the acquisition, restoration, leasing and property management of existing commercial and industrial real estate. Mr. Werther oversaw the negotiation of all acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing, including the company's 3.0 million square foot portfolio sale in February 2005.

Before his tenure at Preferred, Mr. Werther served as Real Estate Attorney with the Philadelphia based law firms of Cozen O'Connor and Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen. He was involved in all aspects of real estate transactional practice including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing.

Mr. Werther holds a B.S. Degree from Tulane University and received his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. He lives in Lafayette Hill with his wife and three children.
